ABOUT
Hilary Hares
Having spent thirty seven years using the power of words to raise over £25,000,000 for good causes, I now have the luxury of trying to wrestle them into the frustrating form of self-expression that calls itself a poem.
Inspired by the challenge of trying to write poetry I took early retirement in 2008 and spent several years acquiring a BA in Creative Writing and an MA in Poetry.
Over a hundred of my poems have found their way out into the world and I have published A Butterfly Lands on the Moon which is sold in support of Loose Muse, Winchester. A collection of childhood reminiscences entitled Red Queen is available to order from Marble Poetry as of March 2020.
Apart from candlelight scribbling in my garret, I run a variety of writing workshops and one-to-one coaching sessions for writers. Proceeds from these activities are donated to causes I support.
